Moreton Bay Rail / Gynther Road/Anzac Ave

The 12.6 kilometre Moreton Bay Rail Link project was to connect the greater Brisbane rail network, from Petrie, to the rapidly growing Moreton Bay region. This included the construction of New stations built at Kippa-Ring, Rothwell, Mango Hill East, Mango Hill, Murrumba Downs and Kallangur.

DSE were contracted by CPB to install 156 pathway lights stretching across 5kms of Shared Path from Petrie to Mango Hill. This project had multiple stakeholders involvement therefore the installation was a mix of both Energex and Main Roads specifications.

This project included the installation of 9 Distribution Boards and 2 Isolation transformers due to the proximity of the Shared Path to the new heavy rail.

DSE went on to be awarded multiple Rate 2 Lighting portions across the projects which included Mango Hill Boulevard, Leis Parade, Mango Hill South Station & Kippa Ring Access Road.

This project was to construct a new thoroughfare to connect the newly built Rothwell Station with Anzac Avenue and to upgrade existing overhead infrastructure and underground lighting assets.

DSE were engaged to install 50 new Rate 2 lights along Gynther & Anzac Ave and a new set of traffic signals at the Gynther & Anzac Avenue intersection. These works were performed in 4 stages.

All lighting was built in accordance with the Energex specs including 6 overhead Point of Supplies, and traffic signals to Main Roads specs.
