Carrara Sports Complex
As part of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre was the new indoor sports facility which accommodated Badminton and Wrestling during the games.
DSE were engaged by Fredon to install all civil infrastructure for the electrical & communication services. This included over 5kms of trench, 100 pits and slab & pier foundations for lights ranging from 1m up to 30m.
DSE also completed a portion of the Shared Path lighting from Nerang Station to Carrara Stadium which included 32 Council Rate 3 lights, with 10 being bollard path lighting.
